Peace in the Midst
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6–7
Life rarely slows down on its own. Pressures build, responsibilities stack up, and anxiety tries to take the lead. But Paul reminds us that peace isn’t something we chase, it’s something God gives when we come to Him honestly and consistently.
Prayer isn’t about having the perfect words; it’s about placing the weight we carry into the hands of the One who can hold it. Thanksgiving re-centers our hearts, reminding us of God’s past faithfulness while we trust Him for what’s ahead.
On the course, anxious swings lead to anxious shots. But when you breathe, settle your stance, and commit to the moment, everything changes. In life, the same applies. When we pause, pray, and bring our worries to God, His peace steadies us in ways we can’t fully explain.
This week, let these verses guard your heart.
Pray honestly.
Give thanks intentionally.
And let the peace of Christ stand watch over your mind.
Because His peace doesn’t just calm the moment, it carries you through it.
