Known by Love

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” – 1 John 4:8

Love isn’t just something God shows, it’s who He is.

John reminds us that if we truly know God, it will show in the way we love others. Not in big, loud ways… but in the quiet choices, the patient responses, and the grace we give even when it’s hard.

On the course, it looks like encouragement instead of frustration, humility instead of ego, and kindness even when the round isn’t going your way. Off the course, it’s choosing compassion over criticism, forgiveness over pride, and unity over division.

If God is love, then walking with Him means letting that love shape how we talk, act, lead, compete, and serve. Not because we’re perfect but because His love is.

This week, let’s live in a way that reflects the One who loved us first.

Be known for love, the kind that can only come from Him.
