Guard Your Mind
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
-Philippians 4:6-7
Your mind is one of the most important places you steward.
What you allow in will eventually shape how you think, how you respond, and how you walk.
We live in a world that constantly feeds anxiety, comparison, and distraction. Noise is everywhere. Worry is encouraged. But Scripture reminds us that peace isn’t something we chase — it’s something we protect.
Guarding your mind doesn’t mean ignoring reality. It means choosing what gets your attention. It means bringing your worries to God in prayer instead of letting them take root in your thoughts. It means filling your mind with what is true, noble, right, pure, and praiseworthy.
On the course, a distracted mind leads to a rushed swing. When your focus drifts, your fundamentals break down. But when you settle your thoughts, breathe, and commit to the moment, everything changes. The same is true in life. A guarded mind leads to steady decisions and confident steps.
This week, be intentional about what you consume.
Guard what you think about.
Protect what shapes your perspective.
Because a peaceful mind isn’t accidental — it’s cultivated.
